Are you still hoping???

I don't know if any of you have "been hoping" things will get better, but I know I have.  Every day the news just gets more and more depressing, but I had the opportunity a couple of weeks ago to attend a wonderful seminar here in Greensboro on financial success and it was a true eye opener!!!  One of the many success coaches pulled me aside at one point and recommended a book to me that he said changed his life.  The title is "7 Strategies for Wealth and Happiness" by Jim Rohn.  What an amazing book- I think you will probably be hearing a lot about this book from me, but I recommend that you go to Amazon right now and order yourself a copy.  It comes with two CDs that are also GREAT!!!!

Jim talks a lot about setting goals and I truly do know how important that is, but sometimes when things get bad, we forget or we feel like it won't do any good, so we lose sight of our goals.  By not setting goals we let our future slide.  He reminds us that we are an active member in this game of life and if we don't have goals, then we aren't playing a very exciting game! I have decided that I want to play in this game of life and I want to come out a winner!  Yes, it is an investment in time to decide what we want, why we want it and how we are going to achieve it, but I'm done with "hoping it will get better."  I realize if it's going to get better, I have to be willing to make it better.

I will always have HOPE in brighter tomorrows, but I am deciding today to not have "passive hope" better known I guess as wishful thinking.  My goals are written, the dates for accomplishing them are set and I am celebrating a new beginning!  Anyone with me???

Happy 4th!

Thanks for the reminder, Linda. Some of my goals are written. Some of them have "due dates." Your timing here was great; I'm glad I read your post.

All best to you...
